Truth Telling Is Healing

Teaching students how to reflect and look inside is one of the most important lessons I can share, the road map to a good life  starts first on the inside. Loving ourselves and telling the truth is the first step in building a strong foundation for the expression of our truest voice.  If we can turn self criticism off and turn up self compassion, the love can grow.  When we love our selves, it is nourishment for the soul and the result is vibrant health and creativity.

Let’s Hold On To One Another

Che Marville is a Business Strategist, Motivational Coach & Meditation Teacher.

The cultivation of our spiritual instinct is a part of our psychological and emotional health. We can see countless examples of suffering perpetrated when this truth is denied in us. Love and kindness may seem simple but they build invisible ropes of strength and resistance that lift us out of darkness.

Today’s Meditation

Che Marville is a Business Strategist, Motivational Coach & Meditation Teacher.

As much as there is chaos in the world, we remain who we are on the inside. So we must love more deeply, live each moment with as much kindness as we can muster, forgive our frailties, the frailties of the ones we love and give where we can. Be alive without hate and judgement. To be alive is miraculous.

Time for Deep Listening:

prayerhandslinkedinPoliticians and media pundits are not the Priest that we need in this time of collective global suffering. Repeating the same “facts” without insight, cloaked in cynicism and politics under the guise of objectivity make words meaningless. The solutions that we hunger for do not have a straight line, it requires deep listening and compassion without judgement. And each of us has a role to play on our daily life, to see and love more deeply. To hold our dear ones close to us even when we disagree, even when we don’t understand. Don’t let lonely alienated people become infected with hate.

For all the good that technology offers, we are more connected and at the very same time more lonely. Beyond rhetoric it’s alienation and loneliness nursing the soil of contempt and hateful violence. Lost to ourselves and lost to others, rage finds temporary comfort in violence.

Let’s not rise in the streets but in our awareness, our hearts, our homes, our neighborhoods, our workplaces and hold people close to us. Let our thoughts, actions and words come from this place. Let us be a light to one another.

Don’t be fooled into thinking you have to be a certain way before you sit in meditation, know that you are enough now and mindfulness is a universal tool for vibrant health. Lift your heart, lengthen your spine and notice your breath in and breath out, again and again.
