Teaching students how to reflect and look inside is one of the most important lessons I can share, the road map to a good life starts first on the inside. Loving ourselves and telling the truth is the first step in building a strong foundation for the expression of our truest voice. If we can turn self criticism off and turn up self compassion, the love can grow. When we love our selves, it is nourishment for the soul and the result is vibrant health and creativity.
As much as there is chaos in the world, we remain who we are on the inside. So we must love more deeply, live each moment with as much kindness as we can muster, forgive our frailties, the frailties of the ones we love and give where we can. Be alive without hate and judgement. To be alive is miraculous.
